There are a few things that are crucial for making life a bit more interesting. One of those things is having a decent bar close to where you live. I used to live near Peoria Heights and there was this dive bar where I spent a lot of time shooting pool with some pretty decent players. It's the kind of place where you can show up and either find it packed or completely empty, which adds to the charm. The staff and regulars are all cool people who make you feel welcome, and the prices are fair. It's a good spot to hang out, play some pool, and forget about the chaos of the world for a while.
