The catfish and red beans were delicious, meeting my expectations. However, the string beans were too salty for my guest's liking. Despite this, the overall dining experience at Shane's on Mansfield was enjoyable, with great service and a variety of tasty menu options. I would definitely recommend trying their BBQ, fish, and fried shrimp baskets, as well as the fried shrimp basket, which was reasonably priced and seasoned perfectly.

Ordered food by telephone and said we could be there in 10 minutes and would go to the window. Two cars were in front of me. Turned off the motor, opened windows. Sat for 39 minutes. Hot and uncomfortable. Got to window and were told there would be a $2 charge for using my credit card which I had used thru the years. My food was $55.

I think that is terrible. I should have been told on the telephone when I was about to place my order.

Have picked up over there for about 15 years real often. Done.

To make matters worse, due to the half hour plus wait our loaded potatoes were just warm and tasted as if they had sat for an hour or more before I got there. $5 each. Terrible. Yucch.

We are done with Shanes.
