This evening I went to dinner with a friend and we sat at the bar. I was dressed in business casual. None of the bar staff asked if I needed or wanted something to drink or eat. My friend had to proactively flag someone down for service. I'm not caucasian so I think this may have been contributing to the situation. A caucasian gentleman sat down right next to me and a bar maid came directly and asked if he wanted something to drink.

Dinner finally came and when I finished my drink it just sat empty on the bar. No one asked if I needed a re-fill or something else to drink. Comically, the bar staff just took the empty tumbler and put it away.

Needless to say I left zero tip and will not frequent this establishment again. What they don't understand is I talk to a lot of people. But I don't think they care whether business professionals or people of other ethnic identities frequent this restaurant. I thought I left the trailer trash culture at the last place I lived. lol.....
