I would have preferred to give 3 1/2 stars, but couldn't get it to work.The staff is friendly and there always seems to be a good crowd here, but this really isn't great Italian food. Anyone who says so, doesn't know Italian food. My husband and I both had pasta fagioli tonight and it was literally the worst pasta fagioli we ever had (and the waitress said it was good - our guess is that she never tried it or knew what it should taste like). It was all onions and hardly any pasta or beans - the very two things that make up the name of the soup! I would ask the chef to look up a good recipe for this soup and revise his. Needless to say, we will go back since it's a local restaurant and kid-friendly, but just don't have high expectations for their food.
