This place has amazing food and combinations ! Friendly staff and down home feeling. We did notice a face of the usual crew was missing! You need to get Melissa back! We missed her in both trips recently so we are assuming she isn't there anymore! She was amazing to your customers !

I used to come for the warm environment where the waitresses were talkative and caring but lately it feels extremely tense and almost like forced happy. I've noticed a change in environment and witnessed an employee getting reprimanded. I felt sad for her. The food is fantastic but the environment isn't the small warm coffee shop that it used to be.

WE ARE WONDERING IF THE-POTSMOKINGIRL- STILL WORKS THERE- MESSING UP THE FOOD.HER NAME SHERRY.IT WAS AND STILL IS THE WORST PLACE TO TAKE YOUR FAMILY TO EAT BFAST OR LUNCH=GO TO IRVS.
THE PLACE IS JUST DIRTY=PERIOD.

READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE WRITING MINE AND THE OWNER/FRIENDS HAD TO PRODUCE THEM OR THEY WERE IN A DIFFERENT RESTAURANT.THE FOOD WAS COLD,MY WIFE WAITED TO LONG FOR HER FOOD AND IRVS BLOWS THIS PLACE AWAY-PERIOD.

Every trip down the shore must have at least 1 breakfast with Carmella. Hopefulky. 2. The food is creative, delecious, and served with loud cheerful greetings. Carmellas and staffs arms are open to everyone local, regular, newbie, old, young ... Whoever you are, come in and enjpy the food. From the moment you cross the threshold, its like you are in your favorite Aunts kitchen. Everthing is served with pride and love and joy. Nutella andnbacon, fresh fruit and fench toast... Every item is a treat.

Amazing food..turkey bacon..egg whites...GRITS!! and all fresh cooked to order..I don't understand the negative reviews, I have never seen anyone gossiping in the restaurant and I have never had any negative experiences, the ladies are always nice and know exactly what I want. Shame on someone that can't resolve things with the owner instead of writing such negative things about a true local favorite of so many.

the breakfast that my family had was terrible-tables are dirty and the women are very worried about the other people at the counter and gossiping.this place is the worst fodd and service

And Mr. Fish..if you have had so much problems in the establishment how come you haven't approached the owner instead of complaining and being malicious online? The owner is friendly and i'm sure would resolve any problem a customer of hers had.

I stopped in on my way to the parkway one day and has been a stop every couple of days since..the pork roll egg and cheese is amazing and most recently ive changed to turkey bacon egg and cheese..its excellent the turkey bacon is thick and delicious and well worth the money!

Family atmosphere, customers all know one another.. love the extensive Eggs Benedict menu!!

First off, you have to understand I love local "joints" run by family that others might find tacky or worse.

Well Carmella's is definitely one of those hole in the wall joints where the food is great, the prices reasonable and that staff are very friendly. It is a hangout for the locals and if you go there enough times they get to know you and your preferences.

The decor of the place is eclectic to say the least. Dolls everywhere and who the heck knows what else.

Love the place... it rates in my top 3 favorite places on the Jersey Shore to eat.
