Ordering online is horribly inconvenient.
1- you are trying to traverse the menu and order for your family and it is very slow
2- if someone in your group submits their order at a different time then the food arrives at different times to the table making the dining experience awkward
3- if I'm placing the order and don't get to ask the waiter questions about it what do you even have waiters for?
