Awesome food and service

I was visiting a friend in Upstate NY and was taken to this place because the reviews are great. However, in my opinion, this restaurant's food is not the best. First, it's not Puerto Rican cooking, the seasoning taste like a different country. Secondly, they mixed salad dressing with the mofongo meals, which is not Puerto Rican style. Thirdly, the prices are higher for food that you can get cheaper in other Spanish true Puerto Rican restaurants. We order the mofongo with the chicharron de pollo and it tasted bland. The plantains were mashed with nothing else mixed inside and the chicken was chicken breast not chicharron which is chicken legs cut up in pieces. I also added rice with beans inside and it was also bland. Very disappointed. They need to do better for the prices they charged. Never again!

GREAT food and atmosphere. Easily the best I've had in the Hudson Valley, to be honest.

The rice and beans with chicharon de pollo blew my mind how delicious it is. I enjoyed the customer service and atmosphere.
