Very disappointed 4-13-25
We had previously enjoyed the Sunday brunch so we thought we knew what to expect. We arrived at 12:30 (hours were 11-2) to find the salad bar depleted with most containers nearly empty. The offerings on the hot foods bar were depleted, not fresh, and were unappetizing. For example: Scrambled eggs and cheese was dry as was the mac and cheese. The fried chicken was mushy and greasy. The barbecue meat was stringy and tough. The staff was friendly but we were surprised that they started tearing down the food bars at just 1:05 pm while several tables were still occupied. When we got the check we had another surprise. The price had increased from $12.95 to $16.95. Shocking as we did not see the price posted anywhere.

The food and ambiance here are fantastic, especially the Friday fish fry! The view of the golf course from the dining room and bar is absolutely stunning, making it the best spot in Lafayette County. The menu is a bit limited, but the meals we tried were delicious, and the soup and salad bar was fresh and well-stocked, although the absence of croutons was a bit odd! The steak was overcooked but still flavorful and tender, while the shrimp and broasted chicken were cooked perfectly. The only downside was the outdated decor with wallpaper and little golf figures on the walls - a bit quirky but could use a refresh!
