The employees acted like we were bothering them. The chicken fried steak was so tough I could have resole my shoes with it. I went, I saw and I will never go back

I am blind, and my husband and I go to Melanies quite often because we love the food. I would have given a five star rating except for one thing. I have asked a number of times for Melanie's to get a braille menu. Since there are very few people who would use it, I can understand why they might not want to get one, so I went online so that my phone could read me the menu. I do that with a lot of restaurants. Unfortunately, Melanies has used a website that only displays a picture of their menu. It is impossible for me to read the menu with the screen reader on my phone the way I do for Countless other restaurants. This is the 21st-century, and once again, visually impaired people have been left out. Why couldn't the owners of this restaurant have chosen to display their menu on a site that was accessible to everyone and would work with screen readers on smart phones? It also took me three years to get Melany's's to put ADA compliant signs with braille on the restrooms. Just saying. The food is very good and we enjoy talking to the staff. I just wish I could listen to the menu on my phone and don't appreciate the lack of inclusion.
