I have always enjoyed Barrett's. In fact, it was perhaps my favorite restaurant in Bel Air. We decided to order take out for our family's Easter dinner gathering. We all looked at their posted EASTER DAY dinner menu. I chose the Scallop Risotto entre and some Crab and Corn Chowder. I've had both before and they are delicious! My guests also made their selections from their posted EASTER DINNER menu. When we called in our order, we were informed that their posted EASTER DINNER menu was a LIE. We were told that we had to order their Easter Special, which included an appetizer, entre (with green beans - which I abhor), and dessert -for a $49 fixed price. Well, the price of the Scallop Risotto on their posted EASTER DINNER menu was $25, and the soup was $8, for a total of $32. In other words, I was required to pay an additional $17 for green beans - which I abhor, and dessert I didn't want (my sister brought a delicious homemade Cheesecake to share for dessert). This applied to everyone in our gathering. It was too late to make other dinner plans, so we bit the bullet and ordered the specials.
I hope that they made enough of a windfall profit based on their false advertising (we selected our order from their posted EASTER DINNER menu), because I will NEVER patronize their restaurant again - I never appreciate being lied to and ripped off.

French Dip was top notch !! Service could not have been better. A very clean, bright, & friendly place for lunch. Will return for a crack at the dinner menu .

Extremely friendly staff starting with the initial greeting to several smiling waitresses wishing us well on our way out. Seemed as though they were happy with their jobs. Our waitress, Caitlyn, was attentive, efficient, and personable. We felt Barretts was a bit pricey, but worth it. The crab/corn soup was delicious as were our entrees, rolls and even the coffee. We were too full to have dessert. The Matre'D stopped by to ask us if everything was okay. It was a very pleasant experience. We will be back!!! We had tried it on a friend's recommendation. We, too, recommend it.
