Ordered Chicken Tikka Masala to-go, when we started eating we found a black beetle in the chicken tikka masala. They offered to replace our meal and so I went back to pick it up. I even went to the trouble of drawing what the bug looked like so they would know what to look out for. By the time I returned home my wife’s appetite was ruined so I called asking for a refund, assuming that was a reasonable request. They said they would need to come pick up the food they just gave me in order to give me a refund. I told the man on the phone that I was not comfortable with him coming to our house. He then said I had to return to the restaurant with our order in order to get a refund so he can show his staff. Instead of traveling across town for a third time I’ve added a photo of the bug for him to “show his staff”. We have eaten there and ordered take out from there many times as it was our favorite Indian restaurant in town, now dead last. Unfortunately you have lost a loyal customer and best of luck getting rid of those black bugs. Also your Kashmiri naan was amazing but your chicken was always on the dry side. Do not contact me, I do not want a refund. We have reported you to the health advisory board. Perhaps keep track of customer numbers so you don’t just assume we’re trying to scam you for food, but in fact have given you plenty of patronage. Also call pest control.
