The Pine Room is a great place to go for a great steak or anything else on them menu toast beef and liver and onions are very good also staff is friendly and fast great drinks prices they atmosphere is nice give the Pine Room a try you"all ve glad you did they have a steak night call for info

Place washes steaks if they smell or If they're sticky. I watched the owner wash two steaks and cook them and send it out. One of the steaks got sent back. The pineroom also changes date stickers to keep food longer. They don't sanitize dishes. The pineroom uses soap and cold water to do dishes not the right way. Side sit in steam table, old sides sit on top and get reheated before going out, old sides do not stay at temp. The grease trap needs to be cleaned. You can smell the stench rising from the sink. "Just poor some bleach down it it's the old plumbing" is what I was told. Not to mention they don't pay you the last day of work if you decide to leave they stuffed me for two hours of work. Was supposed to be full time and worked maybe 30 hours for two weeks. they'll pay cash just so they don't have to do paperwork. These people are not honest. The pinerooms food is in a grey area would highly recommend eating somewhere else.

Use to go there with my dad in the early 60's. Had a lot of good times there. Dad knew a lot people they were a good bunch. At that time Bob Crossman owned it.

Born and raised in St. Charles. Been to the Pine Room
Many times. Never a bad experience. Waitrsses are very friendly polite a.nd always gets your order correct. Very attentive to the patrons. And no smoking. Put this on my list of the best

First experience with Pine Room steak. Cooked as asked med rare. Seasoned well. Baked potato w/ sour cream and butter very tasty. Nice atmosphere, well lit and very clean. Would recommend.
