C&J consistently delivers satisfying dishes that never disappoint. My personal favorites are the oxtail and stew peas paired with fluffy white rice. While there have been occasional hiccups like burnt rice, overall the quality is commendable. Despite occasional service lapses, recent improvements at both Flatbush and Utica locations are noticeable, making it a reliable choice for flavorful Caribbean cuisine.

Like everyone else stated, the food is good but the customer service is HORRIBLE!!! To think you're paying for food and the cashier is extremely rude....makes you not want to support them.

The food is good. However the customer service REALLY NEEDS to improve A.S.A.P. The Food and the service much match. Customer Service is always Key.I hope the owner read this comment because C&J NEEDS TO HAVE BETTER STAFF.

I can honestly say the attitudes of the female servers sometimes Stink!! and the wait is crazy long even when there's hardly anyone in there and sometimes they get the orders messed up, by forgetting something....BUT!!! the food is AWESOME!! taste just like home in Jamaica. I give praise to the cooks not the servers. even tho i know i will wait and may even get attitude its WORTH it EVERY time. there is never a time when C&J is not full of people. NEVER! Enjoy!

The lady that is the manager or owner who ever she is the restaurant on Utica Ave, is very rude to the point that me and my coworkers from Brookdale Hospital use to race there for lunch we now is back with Topaz. Topaz # 0ne as always. That woman needs to take a course in business ethics.

I used to love this restaurant especially for their stew peas now the food is so spicy u can't even enjoy it. I know it Jamaican and they are known for their spices but not to the point that u can't enjoy the food. It's horrible I don't plan on going back anytime soon

Food is excellent but the customer service needs major work. They act like they're giving you the food for free and the waiting time is way too long.

The food is GREAT but the customer service is absolutely TERRIBLE. All the staff does is socialize amongst each other and make hungry people wait entirely too long for food that is already prepared. The service is going to bring down this restaurant eventually!

The food is off the hook! But customer service is piss poor! The people that work in there act like you owe them something. A smile on your face every now and then never hurt. CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE!

The Food is good especially the curry goat and also their macaroni salad and Irish Potatoes are AMAZING but im not feelin the whole atmosphere the service isnt soo great plus the place feels like a suana..also the pace is kinda crowded..
