I ate at Kats last night and I was not as impressed as I hoped to be. I had heard it was a great place to eat and was looking forward to the experience....just didn't meet my expectations. We had reservations at 7:00 but our table was not ready at the appointed time (not a deal breaker). When our table (of 4) was ready we were seated and tended to quickly, our drinks and appetizers were taken and served in a timely manner. We ordered steaks this night but when they were served only 3 were delivered and I had to wait 5 minutes before my steak was delivered to the table, meanwhile, my friends ate their meal. My potato had blackened skin (burnt)....I felt like it was an old potato saved from another night. My filet was also overcooked a little. We were seated under an air duct and cold air blew on us the entire time. The service was good but not exceptional, our waitress even cracked a joke that I thought was inappropriate. Bottom line...if you're going to charge exceptional prices, one should get exceptional food and service.
