The customer service at Country Corner Cafe exceeded my expectations, with a hospitable staff and a welcoming atmosphere. The latte I ordered was excellent, and the food, like the mac and cheese, tasted like a comforting home-cooked meal. Despite the possibility of slower service, the overall experience of dining at this family-owned restaurant in Southold was enjoyable and memorable.

I love it!!! It is so comfortable and warm - reminds me of my grandmother's kitchen. It is spotless, the food is wonderful and the service is great. Wouldn't change one thing.

We used to eat at this restaurant all the time while it was at it's old location. The food was good, the price was right and the service was great.Since the Cafe opened it's doors at the new location, we've only had the opportunity to visit it a couple times. The last time was this past Monday, Aug.23, 2010. We were very disappointed. After we were seated, we asked for a minute or two in order to review the menu. At minimum, twelve minutes passed before we were able to catch the waitress's eye to order. Along with our order, we requested coffee. When the coffee and cups came, my cup looked like it wasn't washed yet with coffee stains running down the side. When I asked for a clean cup, the help was disrespectful to us. That attitude continued throughout the entire meal. When I went to pay for the meal, the same help that gave me a dirty cup, grabbed my money at the register then just shoved the change back at me and turned away without even saying thank you. Seeing that they even increased the cost of all meals, they should at least serve clean utensils and teach the wait staff some manners or hire more help. We now refuse to waste our money here and be treated like garbage while there.
