I have been going to Dick and Peg's for 45 years. Have enjoyed ever meal there. The decor is unique with owls and Irish motif. The family is the best. The friendly, open atmosphere is very comfortable. The cozy fire adds to the warmth of its hosts. All of the meals are individually cooked, so be prepared to wait the appropriate time for your excellent dining experience. You'll be relaxed in the mean time at their bar with generous and stiff drinks! When you leave you know you will be back.

This is an amazing Reaturant the food is always so fresh and it is perfectly prepared. What a warm welcome every time we have walked in the door.whats not to like about that salad bar omg love the artichoke hearts and everything else. Our meals have always been prepared perfectly. The music is great the atmosphere is amazing and clean we wish it were closer than a 45 min ride but it is so worth it. We've been going there 35 yrs. and will continue . I can't say enough about the family that runs this wonderful place. I'd give more stars if I could.

If you are looking for a quick and trendy meal, go someplace else. Dick and Peg's has been in business for many years with the same format and have a good local following. It is an evening out, with a great bartender, and excellent food. The food is all cooked to order, one meal at a time. They do not take reservations, and you order your meal, and are seated in the order that you arrive. A leisurely cocktail and friendly conversation prepare you for excellently prepared American fare. A small but delicious salad bar, followed up by a great steak, and the best potatoes au gratin I have ever had, top the evening off in a very satisfying way. As I said at the top, if you are in a hurry, or are looking for a trendy menu, then this place is not for you. But if you are in the mood for a relaxing evening with a great meal, then definitely five it a try.

The place was empty, yet we were told there was a waiting lne and to sit at the bar for drinks. We were warned by friends ahead of time they they often do this to get you to run up a bar bill! Sure enough, they tried!!!
We left, never to return!!
