After moving back to the area, I decided to try out this Chinese restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by how they exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious and fresh, and the service was fast and friendly. I will definitely be a returning customer and recommend this place to others looking for great Chinese takeout.

I ordered the Happy Family Special for a total of $14.60. A complete ripoff. My dining companion asked if something was missing, it was designated for 2. He thought another package had been left out by mistake. Obviously it wasn't.

Add to that, the food was disgusting. That was the first and last time I will ever order from Golden Garden Cafe.

I order often since China east changed owners 2 out of 6 this month the order was wrong or items were missing to be fair when I called then send what's either wrong or missing but then you have family members eating cold food if you wait or family members eating alone. Yesterday I ordered what I almost always order sesame chicken because it's listed as white meat chicken when it arrived it was made with dark meat chicken and I could not eat it when I called to complain about the error I was told lunch specials yes the cost less than a combination dinner but the portions are smaller. She would not replace the order so I'll amend my over$200 a month.somewhere else!
