I was very disappointed in the Rose Garden for the Bridal Shower we hosted. The number of guests and orders were given quite a few weeks before the shower took place and the service was terrible and the food was not very tasty. A few guests ordered turkey on croissants, only to be told all they had was white bread which was stale. We could not have the room until 1pm and we were rushed to eat, open the gifts and have a little fun.
The owner should have had the food prepared in advance so we did not have to wait over 40 minutes to eat. The service was very slow, the food overpriced ($14.95 for a stale sandwich and a tablespoon of ambrosia is a little too much). Plus 18% gratuity was added on. The Rose Garden is pleasant for a few for lunch, but not a place I would go to again for a shower. We also had a few folks who were gluten free and the gluten free lasagna was never offered. They did however, offer the gluten free brownie for dessert. The place is adorable, just the service and sandwiches need to get a bit better.

What a pleasant place to visit! Had lunch there today with friends; the food was delicious and the atmosphere was very pleasant. As an added treat there is a shop attached with antiques and consignment things. Very cool!

A charming place to meet friends for tea, or to "do lunch." Generous portions, fresh ingredients. Save room for their fabulous desserts!
