I am so happy and satiated right now!
Ordered one of the many dinner specials at Santorini Greek Restaurant, in Lynbrook, on Atlantic Ave, and for $27, including tax, I have enough delicious food for two days. Check this out: a huge piece of salmon, cooked exactly as asked, without the skin- thank you very much- steamed broccoli, a spinach and rice mixture that I should hate, bc there are some onions in it, and yet, I love it. A whole pint of thick split pea soup, like my grandmother used to make ( there were four different choices!). A Greek side salad with yummy dressing, a hunk of (still warm) focaccia bread, and a choice of dessert- I picked the Greek pastry.
Not only is the food plentiful and delicious, the gentleman behind the counter was smiling and helpful and just a pleasure to deal with.
Next week"¦.. chicken francese! Can't wait.
