Last night we tried the seafood at Fish Hooks and were blown away by the variety and quality of the dishes, particularly enjoying the scallops, oysters, flounder, and crab cake, making the slightly higher prices well worth it for the fresh N.C. seafood, and appreciated the friendly service and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant.

6/3/22. Friday nite, Jim and I and another couple went out so they can try fish hooks. The food was delicious and I got rib eye steak and shrimp and the cook did very well fixing my steak to what I wanted. The waitress was very super nice even if her hands were full with other customers she check on our needs too. The atmosphere was very nice too. We all enjoyed our evening. The lunch bar during the week was great so we had to try the evening meal.

My experience at fish hook was not a good experience. I waited ten minutes to be waited on and the server did not wait on me. The server waited on the two guys behind me. She ignored me after one of the two guys in formed her I was next. The atmosphere of this restaurant and the other restaurants in Belhaven are not friendly to African Americans. 8142015 I will never go back!!

Absolutely delicious seafood. Ate there twice the end of November, 2009. Flounder crispy outside and moist inside.
Crunchy slaw. Also had wonderful lightly breaded sea scallops.
They were sweet and tender. Wait staff attentive and friendly.
