Four consecutive Sundays my Catfish was served cold, they gave me fresh and hot after the waitress took it back but to be served cold fish four Sundays in a row is unacceptable on any terms. Frequently the baked potatoes aren't cooked thoroughly, hard in the middle and some of the smallest spuds I've ever seen.
On my last visit there, I ordered the Seafood Platter, I asked my waitress if they could leave the clam strips off and give me an extra piece of fish to replace them, the clam strips are just not that good. The waitress said she thought that would be ok but returned to my table later telling me that the manager would have nothing to do with giving me an extra piece of fish. He had no problem charging me full price without the clam strips but said an extra piece of fish would cost me 6.95.
I used to think this restaurant was the best, ate there very often, I had been a regular and faithful customer for years, but I'll never go back and I told our kind waitress that when she brought us our ticket. I help run a business myself, and when our faithful and regular customers ask for something extraordinary we accommodate them. The years of serving them mean something, the future business is a win for us. If they are dissatisfied and don't use our service anymore we lose a customer, a friend and the money they would have spent moving forward. I wish Captains Galley all the luck in the world and wish them no ill will, but the food has went downhill, the wait staff has always been top shelf, especially Kim, our favorite waitress, but management needs to learn how to be a bit more accommodating to its faithful, regular customers.

I love captain's galley. it is the best seafood i have ever eaten. no other seafood that i have eaten has been as good as your food. i love the tarter sauce, the slaw is great and the oysters are some even i eat and i don't care that much for oysters. so keep cooking and i'll keep eating.
