We tried again after 17 years since our first visit that was no a good experience. I figured a lot can change in 17 years……wrong!! The food was not good!! It all tasted like bland microwave food just like the last time we ate there all those years ago. My chicken parm was burnt on the bottom and had less than a teaspoon of sauce. My son who loves all lasagna and never leaves a crumb on his plate didn’t even eat half of his lasagna! Sadly it was his birthday dinner. My daughter also loves salmon and it was recommended by the waiter.my kids are excellent eaters (teenagers). She said it was the worst salmon ever when we left and that it was really dry. Probably why she was drinking like a camel. Our waiter was extremely nice which is the only good change from 17 years ago. The place was almost empty amd we were passed by at the hostess table by 7 employees who didn’t even acknowledge is. Then the poor hostess who was busting tables ran by and said she would be there soon to seat us. Ten minutes later she did but not before two waitresses walked by and gave us dirty looks!! It wasn’t closing time and we should have gotten our food relatively quickly but waited almost an hour for our meals. The appetizers came out 20min apart. Then my youngest sone kids lasagna looked like it had been hacked up and chewed then covered in cheese to hide it!! We were patient and didn’t say much as our poor waiter seemed to be the only one who even cared that our food not only looked disgusting but it tasted that way as well. Sadly I don’t think 17 years was long enough. We will continue to go to Luigis which we didn’t get reservations made in time sadly. The birthday boy couldn’t make up his Ming the. Decided on Italian. We seriously could have saved ourselves $125 and went to Olive Garden if we wanted microwave chain food that tries to pass off as homemade. I really wish we could have had the experience everyone talks about. The hostess and waiter were the only good things I can say about this place. All the other employees were rude and blocked the restroom entrance even after saying excuse me so my daughter could use the bathroom. They were gossiping and complaining in front of customers which is really not a good thing in a business!
