The fresh guacamole and flavorful fajitas, especially the chorizo version, always impress me, even if I tend to avoid cheese dishes. Each visit brings a clean atmosphere and friendly service, making it my go-to for satisfying Mexican food whenever I'm in the area.

Don Juan’s remains one of our favorite Mexican restaurants. We love the cheesy dishes because they are comfort foods. For example, the Arroz Con Pollo has char-grilled chicken, veggies, that wonderful cheese sauce, and rice. What could be better? The seasoning in the meats is well balanced, neither bland nor over seasoned. Same with the salsa. We eat here often. Neither of us cared for the chipotle sauce on the brisket in the Cocina Special. Prices are competitive, and portions are okay. Dining outside on the patio is nice. The only area in which we would recommend improvement would be the service, which is spotty - sometimes good and sometimes not. In our opinion, it is one of the better restaurants in the Lexington area.

food was good. but the eye rolling by the lady at checkout was too much. we had trouble, and she was texting on her phone . i waited patiently, told her & was VERY rude. 45 min for a drink is 2 much
