If you grew up on meat and 3, this is your place! Do wish they had more vegetables of the green variety like brocolli and collards.

Awesome food (ALWAYS EXCEPTIONAL)!! Can you tell me how late it is on Sundays before you might run out of your fabulous turkey & dressing?? Anyone know? (HELP)!!!

Philly cheese steak is to die for it makes me 2 meals out of 1 sandwhich have never had a problem with customer service everyone is very friendly and do the best they can especially when they are over whelmed inside and curbside

Had the pleasure of eating here twice. Last time I was in Waynesville, on a Monday, they were closed. Going back today. Hope they are open and well staffed. The service was a bit off because of short staff last time. Look forward to the food. This place is in my top 3 list for the entire South,

Solid diner food and southern food. Everything here is pretty good. It's not going to win any culinary awards, but it's good comfort food.

One of our favorite places to eat in Haywood County. The food is always delicious (my favorite is the Fri. fried chicken special, my husband, the Philly Cheese Steak), service is always friendly and prompt although it can be a little slow being seated in the evenings because they are ALWAYS hopping! My husband and I stop in at least once every week or two. Their vegetable beef soup is just like my Granny made, always a hit! Try the desserts too, you won't be disappointed. Bring your appetite, because the portions are lots of bang for your bucks!

My wife and I come to Waynesville one weekend a month to relax and get away. We've done this for over 2 yrs and always enjoy it. One of the highlights is eating at Clyde's. Great food and great people. Very relaxed atmosphere and employees are courteous and attentive. Overall a really good down-home place to eat.

I grew up eating at Clyde's and the food was good then. 6 months ago I decided to try it and see if the food was still good. I go there to eat lunch at least once a week and the food is fantastic! I always order off of the daily specials menu and everything I have ordered is the best! The chicken pot pie on Wednesdays is to die for! I have gotten a piece of pie a few times and it is homemade and delicious. The time to get your food is average and most of the waitresses are great. I have run into a few that are not.

Breakfast was terrible. The grits were cold sausage was hard a rock.eggs cold and the toast well need I say more. Said to the owner how bad it was and blamed waitress. Never go back.

They charge you extra for everything and don't tell you until you go to pay. Manager is a rude jerk and they run at a snail's pace. Only "family" restaurant if you don't complain and have 2 hours to eat. They don't know what customer service means. And I am pretty sure their mashed potatoes are instant.

Went there to eat with my sister in law we decided to take it to go cause we were in a little but if a hurry and they were not going to fast. When we told them we would like it to go immediately the employees got snobby with us then told us it would be $20 extra for to go plates. Then one employee said to another we should have called it in if we were in such a hurry. Just flat out rude and I will not be returning and ill warm everyone I know!! Hardee's is just across the street ill recommend them from now on!!

This is our local home town restaurant. They have an everyday special with local vegetables, a wonderful selection of sandwiches and meals. The deserts are above all the best around. If you are in Waynesville, NC then a trip to Clyde's is a MUST!
