These folks make actual, genuine donuts. The Do-Nut spelling gives a hint of their old-fashioned sincerity- come to think of it, the textures & full flavor of every kind I've tried (plain cake, double chocolate, & both cake & raised glazed) are exactly the kind of sincere, & true to each type's donut ideal that Linus (Charlie Brown's pal) is talking about when he exhorts pumpkin patches waiting for the Halloween visit of the Great Pumpkin to be their most sincere- the Real Thing! Not a word is exaggeration here, btw. They also share their leftovers w needy groups in the city every week- very genuine people, making very genuine donuts!
