I think the school's culinary program is an awesome idea. However, I just watched this on Restaurant Impossible and found it very disturbing, as the students have been a part of the program for a year and can barely chop vegetables. If I were the Principal or District Superintendent, I would fire Chef Tim Bilke. Robert turned these students around in a few days, in enthusiasm and basic skill level. Robert should have asked Chef Tim, and not the students, if he was committed to the program. Shameful display of another teacher who really shouldn't be a teacher.
The program now has hope because of Restaurant Impossible and should seriously consider hiring someone capable of helping the students achieve their goals.
