The Indian Taco is absolutely amazing and huge. I couldn't eat the whole thing. This is a great little country place.

The only problem I have ever had at this restaurant is the wait time it is right off of I 40 as some of posts say. I live close enough that eat here fairly regularly food always HOT good . Waitress nice if a bit OVER worked. Patience goes a long way. As to flys as the post from other lady she must ??? Have see a fly or may be 2 in summer. NO other critters as to food all over floor. I sorry when walking into a restaurant do not peek under tables to see if people are messy

We live in the area and eat at Cowpokes regularly and have for years. It is clean and has a very friendly staff and the food is excellent.....my fav is the chicken fried steak and the catfish dinner....the review by Lenore can't be true! I love this place and I'm a finicky person!

As of this writing (8/2014) Cow Pokes Restaurant off of I-40 and Highway 75 in Oklahoma is run by a very gracious lady whose staff prepares excellent food. Worth stop. Service, EXCELLENT, taste EXCELLENT, just a small place but a GREAT one.

We had three breakfasts at Cowpoke's Cafe, and we agreed that they were each edible, but not really "good". Huevos Rancheros were kind of soupy, and lacked identity, the omelette was ... plain and bland. The "home fries" had been made in the french fryer instead of on a grill. The drinks were very "off taste" but we were willing to consider that possibly the local water tastes bad, but whatever, the drinks were barely potable. On the other hand the waitress was friendly, fast, attentive and helpful. We will probably not go back.

Cow pokes cafe is rite off I 40 in Oklahoma! I just went there and the entire place has food all over the floor and there was too many flies to count! Two other customers came in and walked rite back out because of how discusting it was! The salad bar has maggots all over it. The food was very unpleasant. The service was rude! I asked the waitress to please kill all the flies and she replied with, I will give you a fly swat to kill them ur self! Very nasty place, I will never go there again! I wish I was exaggerated but I am not!

We stopped at the Cowpokes Cafe and were pleasently surprised at the FABULOUS service, INCREADIBLE ribs and OMG the pie was out of this world, we bought a whole pie to take home.
