I've patronized this establishment twice. Both times were awful. I decided to give it a second try because I always give second chances. Maybe they were having a bad day the first time.

Both times, the meat (pork) was extremely dry and tasteless. For a trained pit-master, pork is fairly easy to keep moist and tasty. It seems likely the pit-master has little actual experience or if they do, then they simply don't seem to care.

The sauces provided tasted store-bought and the amounts were very small.

The sides received both times were potato salad and baked beans. The potato salad was chunk style and was quite good. It was the one redeeming thing we received each time.
The beans tasted store-bought and were overwhelmed with sauce and very little beans.

They included a loaf of generic (no brand) bread.

The gallon of sweetened tea during our first purchase wasn't sweetened.
The second time around, the tea tasted as if it was mixed with soap. We actually took a cup to our sink and added water, sure enough it made suds. The only thing we can figure is that they brought in used milk jugs, washed them out, and then filled them with tea. I complained that time, but they refused to do anything about it.

I've met other people who've had similar bad experiences as myself. I've also met people who had great experiences there.
All I can do is give my experiences and my personal review.

In my experience this is an awful restaurant. Don't patronize it.
