Had breakfast at CJ's and tried their delicious breakfast sandwich on a homemade biscuit. The meal was filling, fresh, and reasonably priced. Left with a soft and delicious cookie for the road - a great find for a local breakfast spot!

My wife and I went to CJ's Kitchen after church today and experienced by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced in America! Not only did I find a hair mashed down and cooked into my food, when the waitness and the manager were made aware of it they both responded unpologentically and with an attitude of get over it, it's just hair! The manager "Curt" even went so far as to come over to our table and insinuate that I put the hair in the food myself. I explained to him that the hair was cooked into the meat and demonstrated this by lifting the long curly hair with my fork, and the hair was still in the sausage patty. After my demonstration, "Curt" then took the sausage patty off of my plate, examinned it closer, and then proceed to pluck the hair out of the meat and then ask me, would I like another sausage patty??? After I said no thank you, he says with an extremely rude tone of voice," well, what would you like me to do about it then?" I responded, " what would you do if you found a hair in your food?" He responded " It wouldn't be a big deal." I am in complete shock to hear that someone that runs a business selling food and service to customers does not think its a big deal if their customer finds a hair in their food and to top it all off is completely unapologentic and extremely rude about it! After it was all said and done, he offered to take the $3 sausage patty off of our bill. I explained to him it was not about the money, our concern was about the lack of customer service as well as the lack of tactic and empathy by the staff at CJ's Kitchen. I paid full price for both of our meals and said "thank you!" Thank you for acting as if your customers don't matter and being unapologetnic and extremely rude. Thank you for giving a first time customer the experience of a lifetime! I can promise you this "Curt" and the staff at CJ's Kitchen, you will NEVER have to worry about my family coming into your place of business again! I don't go where I don't feel welcomed and I certainly will not go back to a place where they are extremely rude to their customers and disrepectfully accuse customers of doing wrong and having no accountability. So again I say thank you! I really hope the Better Business Bureau gets wind of this because I know you can do better.
