Mayflower has been a staple in the seafood scene for decades, offering a nostalgic charm that many have come to love. However, there seems to have been a slight decline in the overall experience, perhaps due to changes in equipment or ingredients. Despite this, the food is still delicious, though the ambiance may not exude the same classic diner charm it once did. The service, particularly from individuals like Charles, remains commendable and helps elevate the dining experience.

I went through the takeout and was the third in line, paid for my food and step out front sat on the bench for 10 minutes. Entered back in to see if order was ready and they couldn't find my order ticket. Waited another 15 minutes and still no food after they asked me my name for the 3rd time. 5 minutes later the food was ready and I was asked to check it. Proceeded to leave and I was asked to pay again for the food. I explained I already did and the young lady that took my money said I didn't. I explained how much I gave her and how much change she gave back. At this point I asked for manager. The young girl said the manager said no refund. 35 minutes into this, I'm asking for my money back I do not want the food since they're trying to make me pay again. I feel like the manager wouldn't have given me my refund if the place hadn't gotten crowded. They were very unorganized. I counted six people order behind me and received their order before me. My order was very simple and I should have been out in no less than 10 minutes. Love Matflower, but that made me go somewhere else and I received that same ordering less than 10 minutes.

I used to go here regularly. Until I was waiting for my to go order. A waitress picked up a glass and drank from it. She then proceeded to refill her drink. She pressed the drink, where her mouth had been, right against the lever that dispenses the drinks. I was SHOCKED and DISGUSTED. Will never order a drink from there. I reported this to Health Department with no response.

Thought I was treating myself to some good seafood. Wrong! Ordered the large combo platter, jumbo shrimp and whiting fish. Of course, you get more fish? The fish tasted like it was frozen and maybe fried for less than 10 mins. Absolutely disgusting. Called and spoke to mgmt. Response, 'we tell you to check your food before you leave...' Who stand there and eat their food? Do you have the box, of course I did, you couldn't eat the crap. Took it back. Well, you ate the shrimp. They gave me $5. Really!!! $5 for a $14 dish. The worst customer service. Stand by your work. Will NEVER eat there again.

Oyster and jumbo shrimp combo outstanding the last two times I have ordered. Cooked just perfectly not over done I give it a A plus five out five

Wife and I was there tonight great service but the food was to greasy to eat and the cashier was rude and needs to be fired but she's probably the owner of a nasty smelling place will never ever go back they need to be put out of business for serving food so bad

Stopped by for lunch. Service was unacceptable and the seafood was terrible. Small portion for the price. My fish looked like it was reheated. Not sure but that place is definitely on our list of places to avoid.
