Everything is made in-house. I had the $12 lunch special, spaghetti and meatballs w/ a caesar salad. The amazing salad was just a preview to the handmade spaghetti noodles, bolognese sauce and incredible meatballs. These were very nice portions too. My wife loved the special pesto potato soup. Complimentary bread was served w/ oil and balsamic vinegar. The dessert, lemon cello was very nice. Chef Daniel Cantu is an artist. Plating was excellent. Service was terrific. Best meal we've had so far on this road trip.

I've been to many Italian places, and there is nothing better than Il Castello. The food is absolutely amazing. I ordered their chicken Alfredo, their noodles are homemade, there was plenty of Alfredo sauce and the chicken was very lean. The service was also really good they did a very good job with keeping our drinks full. So I would definitely recommend this place I just wish they had one In salt lake :)
