The restaurant by the lake is a solid choice for a laid-back meal, but definitely skip the ribs - they were boiled and lacked any flavor. On the bright side, the olive burger is fantastic and don't forget to try a South Dakota cocktail by adding olives to your beer, it's surprisingly good. The atmosphere is welcoming, the prices are fair, and arriving by boat to their docks adds to the experience, making it our top pick for dining in the area.

Walking in is like walking into family house. The servers are there ready to seat you, Dave and Sarah have a great staff and always help. The food is always good, Lee always has something special that's out of this world. We're lucky to have this gem in the area. And the view, always fantastic. The deck in the summer"¦.best part.

I wouldn't even give it 1 star. Server had an attitude. Ignored our requests and came out with incorrect order without realizing it.

Horrible.
As the managers stand behind the bar.

I have went to SoDak and the food was great! Great staff too! Would recommend it to family and friends for sure!!!

Worst place you ever choose to go will not be back nor will I recommend this place to anyone. Poor planning and bad management did not prepare enough food for Valentine's Day special prime rib Now correct me if I am wrong do you not make reservations so they can get a good idea of how many to expect for a special day love or Valentine's Day to prepare enough food. Would like to thank the cooks and the management of Sodak Shores for ruining one of the most romantic days of the year. Lonnie Boschee
