We stopped for lunch during a long journey and were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome and the variety of blue plate specials offered for the day. The dishes we tried, including baked chicken and hamburger steak, were served promptly and were quite tasty, although the instant mashed potatoes were a bit of a letdown. Despite a few minor drawbacks, the friendly atmosphere, delicious food, and reasonable prices make this cozy spot a worthwhile stop on any road trip.
