The staff at this restaurant are absolutely wonderful, and you have to try the succulent Burger - especially if you like it medium rare. The peel & eat shrimp and the steak special with a pint of beer were both fantastic choices. The atmosphere inside and out is so welcoming and clean, making it a fabulous dining experience that you shouldn't miss out on!

We had, up until last fall (covid), been steady patrons of Steeners. This week, we stopped there to dine in. We didn't feel like bar food so my wife ordered a steak with salad and baked potatoe and I broiled fish and baked potatoe. The steak wasn't cooked properly and was full of gristle (they replaced at no charge) only to give her another that was equally of low quality. My fish was tolerable but both of our baked potatoes were cooked prior to our order and microwaved before serving. (Neither was white but dark tan within and overcooked).
I loved this place and have never had a bad meal prior. Today's meal for both of us was terrible. I'm saddened because I will not return. We actually thought it may have gone under new ownership but I don't believe that to be the case.

Ordered poutine. Menu said brown gravy with cheese curds, received gravy with cheddar cheese. When I asked the waitress about it ahe said tney didnt have cheese curds. She said she could take half off because we ate some of it. WHAT? We ate a few bites. It was terrible. Tbe obviously don't care if customers come back....
