We decided to dine at Alina's after reading rave reviews. We did not have the same experience as others had. We reserved the piano room to listen to add a little romance, but why? Because there was not a piano player, so why ask for a preference. Our waitress forgot our drinks, then asked us for bread 3 times before bringing it to our table, she then spilled 1/4 of a martini in my boyfriends meal and said "Oh sh-t, sorry". Service was slow and we waited some time for our drinks to be refilled, the food service was just as slow. I am all about waiting a bit for a well cooked meal to come to the table - it takes time but that was not the case. My boyfriend ordered lamb medium well and it came out rare, I ordered chicken with tortellini which was mushy - I didn't finish; the texture was paste like. Maybe it was an off night in the kitchen - it happens sometimes! But our ditzy waitress was the icing on the cake. She even took payment then came to a table saying "Oh I forgot we do not take the Discover card". Again, things happen but it was one thing after another with her. And this is more of being picky but what Italian restaurant does not have antipasto? We definitely will not go back.
