For the very first time ,I tried this restaurant about an hour and a half ago and it was one of the worst experiences I've had in a restaurant before. First off there was multiple families including an elderly couple that had not been greeted or served and they turned around complained to me about the terrible service and walked out the door because they were tired of waiting. I waited and waited and watched and waited never was a greated or offered to seat ,despite the fact that the restaurant was half empty. Not only that ,one of the waitresses was standing around talking instead of wiping off the empty tables and getting people seated. Furthermore there was one of the waitresses was stacking peoples meals on top of each other, contaminating the food and then bringing it out to the customers. She never should have let the bottom of plates stack on top of peoples uncovered food, this is a gross violation of food handling ,and I wonder how many people get sick from this carelessness during the cold and flu season.Altogether I saw 11 people leave the restaurant without being served .If first impressions mean anything ....I will never come back to this restaurant, it was terrible. I love visiting Rathdrum, but I will definitely be giving my money to a different restaurant.
