Went out for lunch with a friend, she ordered the blackened seafood combo, while I opted for the fried seafood combo. The portions were huge and definitely worth the price, and the food was simply fantastic. The wait staff was really attentive, and even the chef came by to chat with us about their upcoming Thanksgiving buffet and bluegrass band event. Excited to bring my folding chair and enjoy the music outside! Can't recommend this place enough - it's the same great owner and staff from the old Nicole's in the Country. We stopped by today for some Mayport fried shrimp and okra, which is always my go-to side. The food was served hot and fresh, accompanied by some delicious fresh-brewed iced tea. My husband loved his Fried Shrimp with green beans and mashed potatoes - you could tell they were homemade. Our waitress, Sarah, was so friendly and took great care of us. If you haven't checked out Gerald's yet, make sure to add it to your list - you won't be disappointed. Gerald himself even comes out of the kitchen to chat with customers, and everyone there is just so friendly. They've adjusted their hours slightly, closing at 2 pm on weekdays and 8 pm on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Suckiest service in Middleburg..food is good but waitresses have no clue what's going on . I think this man is run,no a day care for young girls

My husband and I were having dinner there Carly anybody in the restaurant empty pretty much and we're having our dinner nobody ever waited on us it took 45 minutes for us to get a very small meal and then they didn't give us are french fries went up there to say something to someone about where the french fries at this waitress comes around the corner going that well it's our fault that there's no french fries we should have came up and said something when we that's what we're doing now it's saying hey where are french fries were already done with her meal and then she proceeded to say where we only have one cook that's not asphalt and then she just started getting loud and talking about how my husband's got an attitude we don't have an attitude we're trying to bring it to your attention that we're ready to leave we're not there to socialize we came in to eat we're ready to leave oh and then she just started getting loud and screaming and I was like what you hear Very Bad Waitress very very bad experience I hope she gets fired sorry about her life being so so bad that she's got to come to work and take it out on the customers do the right thing tell people you don't got French fries or or they're going to be a little bit late don't come with the food and say you don't get french fries I'm very upset bad experience

We are moving to Middleburg. We stopped here for lunch. Everything was excellent with a staff that makes you feel welcomed. We will return!yum

Was a great place to eat. It has changed and now advertise specials you can't buy and less than courteous staff.
