We love Niemergs - always stop when passing through. Food good, service good, and price is right! Only issue we have is the coffee: not good 😩

It's a real treat for us because we live Fairfield , IL and don't have a nice restaurant to go to unless it's Mexican.

1/31/21 Sunday morning buffet was terrible, eggs and meat were to order and the buffet part was donuts cut in half with biscuits and gravy. I ordered scrambled eggs which were eggs poured on griddle flipped once then folded over. Waitresses walked by our table of 4 without picking up dirty dishes.

My husband Chris n I usually stop here when we're traveling thru it's one of our favorite spots to eat! Great prices, delicious food n superb service! Friendly people. We dine in on the diner side most of the time but we have ate on the restaurant side which was nice too they have a really good salad bar on that side. N there's a full bar there too! Really nice place to take your family n enjoy a good meal. Recommend definitely! A++

The food was delicious and hot when it was served. Sirloin tips were great, not too spicy, and cooked just right. The Butterfly Shrimp was excellent!! The salad was very fresh, Even though we had to do drive up I know dinning in would be so special. I know because we live in Effingham and usually Go every Saturday evening to eat and on special days like our Anniversary and birthday. We usually get coupons for those special days but this year with the virus we really missed it.
We pray that soon this virus will be over so we can get back to our favorite restaurant to eat and enjoy our favorite food.
