Stopped in on a whim last night - had never heard of it, but the sign looked reminiscent of the places my parents took us to for special dinners. The inside looks like it stepped out of a stereotypical Italian restaurant from the 80's - but we were there for it. We had a fantastic server who introduced us to the history of the restaurant and immediately took our drink order. When she returned with them, she asked if we'd like appetizers- we went with the classic antipasto and the meatballs. The antipasto was for two and there were four of us, but there was plenty for us all to get a little taste, and that's all we wanted. The meatballs were plated with two - but they were large, so again, great for us.
Our server Christine came back and we placed our entree orders: spaghetti bolognese, ghili Marcello, and fettuccine with prosciutto, spinach and mushrooms, and a large salad. While we waited, she provided rustic bread and olive oil / balsamic for dipping. We also ordered a side boat of the tomato basil sauce for dipping. All of our dinners were delicious and plenty to eat. We were too full for dessert, but left so grateful to have found this gem.

Reservation states no flip flops, not hats or tank tops..seating is like your in a bar more then a restaurant.. food is great, server was nice. Just thought it would be more like a restaurant then a bar

Horrible experience. we entered and were told that they were booked for the nite but many empty tables. would not waste my time again.
