The City Club at de Rosset is a private club in a lovely 19th century mansion near the banks of the Cape Fear river, exuding quaint yet refined southern hospitality and charm. The food surprised me with its quality, especially the organic greens salad and shrimp and grits, while the service made me feel warmly welcomed and pampered.
