I contacted Watershed Distillery about selling them green walnuts, from my small Ohio farm, just West of Columbus. Jenn Murley, Watershed's Director of Tours told me they were buying walnuts, the price they were paying and that the cut off date for selling them walnuts was 7/24/2020. She asked me how many pounds of walnuts I would have. I told her at most a few hundred pounds. She told me that would not be a problem and that they needed the nuts and that I just needed to drop the nuts of by close of business on 7/24/2020.
I laboriously picked the nuts in very hot and humid weather. I called Jenn on 7/23/2020 to ask where to drop the nuts off and was told they no longer needed the nuts they had me pick.
I recommend all Ohio farmers be very careful when dealing with Watershed Distillery.
