I just read the above review and would like to perhaps shed some light.
I'll betcha that the driver really did have a car problem. I live in Belvidere about 1/8 mile from Chopsticks and know the guy who did deliveries
during this time. And yes, he did have a car problem.
Who cares how much English they speak? They cook damn good food. Try any of the dishes. You won't be disappointed. Go in prepared wait and order a Mai Tai.

I ordered Chinese food delivery from this restaurant a few days ago. The driver couldn't find my house (my house is located on two major intersections-therefore easy to find). The male driver called about an hour after I ordered to verify address then said he was on his way. After 2 hours, a female driver finally delivered the food and apologized saying the other driver had car trouble. (right!) I went ahead and tipped the driver because I doubt it was her fault the delivery took so long. Today I called at 3:32 after having difficulty getting thru to them to place another delivery order. The lady that answered the phone knew who I was because I explained that I had been the customer that had to wait for two hours for delivery. (she knew my address before I told her). Lunch specials end at 3:30, so she said she couldn't take an order for lunch. I reminded her that their deliver was took two hours and I still paid for and tipped the driver. It shouldn't be too much to ask for a two minute grace period on the lunch special given that I had not charged them for the two hour delay a few days ago. She insisted she could not take lunch order. I called back and asked to speak to thYe owner. The man that answered said he was the owner. (at least I think he did because he can hardly speak English). He insisted could not take lunch order without even so much as an apology for the two hour delivery a few days ago. The service here is unbelievably lousy and furthermore, if you own a business in the USA....have the decency to speak our language. Thanks, but no thanks. I would not even give this restaurant half a star with the treatment I was given although I had to in order to complete the review.
