I attended a senior luncheon at El Cerro's today and was delighted by the experience! The manager and staff went above and beyond to create a special section for our group. The outstanding food and service truly made our day, and we can't wait to return for another delicious meal! The Mexican cuisine here is the best I've ever had, and the service is simply awesome!

This location is the best out of all of them in Horry County. I live in Carolina Forest, one mile from the El Cerro there. I drive to Surfside to that El Cerro because of the quality, presentation and service. OUTSTANDING service, along with delicious food. Don't understand why there is a difference in everything from the Carolina Forest El Cerro, but I will continue to drive to Surfside to get the service and quality of food that I ALWAYS get there! Also, the restaurant is always so clean, even the bathrooms!

Worst service I have ever had EVER. Slow service, waiter dropped paper in my food and picked it out with is hand, spilled food all over my friends cloths, had to ask multiple times for items. When I complained to manager about the poor service, manager just got the waiter and told me to tell him. Then when the waiter came back with my check he slammed it down on the table and threw a pen at my face and walked off. Manager just happened to walk up when it happened and said he didn't throw it at your face, he threw it at your chest. Manager just continued to defend waiter. I told them I would never come back and walked out. I could not believe what had just happened. By the way, I was the sixth person to complain about the service while I was there. Eat here at your own risk.
