The food is always fresh and made to order, with generous portions that often leave us with leftovers to enjoy later. With friendly service and prices that cater to any budget, my fiancí© and I have found ourselves returning time and again for the consistently delicious dishes at this family-owned restaurant.

My husband and I ordered the Chicken with Broccoli lunch special. This was NOT chicken. It was chicken skin. UGH!!!!!!! Very Disappointing.

First time experience was very nice. Ordering was a little unusual and I do think the fact that they only take checks or cash should be included on the website. The food was fresh and delicious and the restaurant was clean and safety measure were in place. We will keep this restaurant on our list of places to order take out

Orders are to go and arrived home to find that our order was wrong. The rude lady that took the order seemed spaced out and I had to repeat chicken with mushrooms 6 times. We arrived home to find 2 soups, no pork entree and thought we had someone else's order but we were the only ones there. I went back to have the lady mumble and laugh at me. My mistake- I left food at home and my husband brought it back. Every worker yelled at me and laughed at me- especially the rude cashier. I was very upset and even threatened to call police because of how I was being treated. Apparently one of the soups was not soup but chicken with mushrooms. It was a brown sauce in a quart container and looked like a hot and sour soup with a couple snap peas. Our pork order with mushrooms wasn't there and there was a container of vegetables they didn't know what it was. They all kept yelling like it was our fault and my husband asked them to quit yelling at us the cashier lady that was spaced out kept laughing the whole time even when other workers came up and joined in laughing and yelling at us. They did not try to fix order. They handed us our money back and then they all handled the returned food items. I questioned that they were handling food we had already handled and opened at home and was told it was their food. Never going back. Saw a post from 2015 with the same workers yelling, fighting and throwing food all over the store. We support local businesses but definitely will not return

Great food and plenty of it. Awesome price and super fast . Has that real Chinese food taste. Great service. They want you to be happy with the food before you leave. While corona is still in the minds,they are taking all precautions and cleaning needs

It's the bom dig but we need a updated menu on facebook please so we can start ordering online if we can't go in and eat miss this restaurant so much thank you for opening again

your better off buying frozen meals from wal-mart. nothing is fresh its all frozen .. You will have so much stringy frozen chicken stuck in your teeth you better have floss. It has No Flavor I could go on and on

Due to Coronavirus, they haven't been opened but I can't wait to for them to open back up. Their food is great, and prices even cheaper than other Chinese restaurants! The quantity is crazy also how much you get for your money and it's good. I've been to many other Chinese restaurants that have higher prices, expecting the quality of the food to be a bit better or even the same but I haven't found another Chinese restaurant to match the tastiness, price, or even quantity of this small family owned restaurant. They serve big portions for your buck! Service might not look like the most positive. But I definitely recommend this place for you to try it out. I love the orange chicken, recommend trying the dumplings with their amazing sauce, and also the garlic chicken is one of my new all time favorite. First time I came here once with 12 dollars hoping I would have enough for a meal like I had forgotten my wallet at home. Came out of the restaurant with two delicious meals. Must try.

Wonderful dishes,, great Chinese food, Hot,fresh, delicious very speedy friendly service ,affordably priced by local neighbors.
You can dine in there,but i love to pick up & enjoy at home.
China wok is my comfort zone.

Food's good. Prices are decent. The folks who run the place are good people. Never had any trouble. You probably still need to pay with cash, so be ready for that.

It's better now. Can't speak to what it was like in 2015 because we're newish to the area. However, we ordered take out from China Wok a couple times a month and we're never disappointed.

Avoid Eating Here,
I've been eating here since they first opened back in the 90's. They used to be the absolute best Chinese in the entire area. However in the past couple of years the service has slipped significantly. The young lady that answers the phone and takes the orders is rude and unfriendly.

However this isn't my only problem, the quality of the food has also went down since the young man took over the business from his father a few years ago. He is also abrupt and somewhat rude himself, the food used to be the tastiest around and is now somewhat bland and often over or under cooked.

I am a truck driver that travels all over the Country and I could have honestly said at one time China Wok could compare with the best Chinese places I have ever eaten. Now I hesitate to eat here, I often wait till I go to work in Shelbyville and eat at the Chinese buffet there next to Wal-Mart. My Advice avoid this restaurant they aren't worth the money and the rude service...

The food is fantastic. Best Chinese in town. However, the customer service isn't that great.
the tables inside can be sticky, they aren't cleaned very often.
Placing an order by phone, they don't give you your total before hanging up so you have to guess. And be sure to take cash, cause that's all they take.
Also, boneless spare ribs are on the menu but they NEVER make them anymore. They just say they've run out when you ask.

Ordered off the menu, the food is cooked to order. In this era of buffets, this is the exception. Great!
