These milkshakes are real milkshakes not just chopped up ice. Handmade with real ice cream, real milk and real stuff.
And the jalapeño grits are worth a destination drive.

I frequent Red Star for breakfast and burgers due to their excellent food and attentive waitstaff. The small-town atmosphere, located near Ranger, Texas, makes it a perfect stop for a hearty and affordable meal while traveling on the road.
