Great food

We love this place. A friend who travels between SLC and Vegas often recommended it. My brother in Cortez did also. They stop on frequent trips to SLC. My friend loves the salads there. They have the freshest greens ever. I cannot believe the thawed salad comment here.

My husband and I had dinner at J C Mickelson's last night - a Tuesday night. The food was ok. Half way through our meal, the waitress dropped a glass beside our table, and the glass shattered all over my legs and feet, and on the bench seat where I was sitting. I was concerned that there was glass in our food, so we didn't finish the meal. We didn't get a "sorry" or a "let me get a cloth to wipe off your legs and feet" nothing.. absolutely nothing. But, we did get the check, which we paid and vowed to NEVER go there again. Stay away from this place - these people don't know the first thing about customer service....

The place has been completely revamped. A fun, whimisical setting with great food and good service. Will definitely go back!

This is the absolute worst restaurant I have had the misfortune to wind up in. I was driving from LA to Wyoming and was intrigued by the billboards. I ordered a french dip sandwich and a salad. Both were inedible. The salad was literally defrosted. Who freezes a salad? The meat on the sandwich was apparently beef, but tasteless and tough as wet masonite. The server and manager were completely impassive to my complaints. Went across freeway to a truck stop where the food was unimpressive but actually food. Seriously, worst restaurant ever.
