The food at this diner is delicious, especially the tater tots which are our favorite. The burgers and shakes are also good options, but we always find ourselves going back for the tots. The service is fast and the location is convenient, right next to the Boulevard.

Apparently, it's their policy to lie to their customers. Here is what happened:
We ordered a cake batter + cookie dough shake.
We received a cake batter + Oreo shake.
Not what we ordered.
I went to the counter. I showed her the shake. I said, "Does this shake look like cake batter + Oreo?" She replied, "Yes."
I showed her the receipt and said, "Look. What does it say?" She replied, "Cake batter + cookie dough."
I said, "Can you fix that?" She replied, "Yes, but could you give us your shake?"
"Why?" I asked. "Are you going to throw it away?" She lied, "No. We will remake it."
I said, "What do you need my shake for? Are you going to turn this shake into the one we ordered?" She lied, "Yes. We will split it up in half."
I said, "I'm confused. How are you going to make the Oreo pieces disappear from my shake? And we ordered a full cake batter + cookie dough shake. Why are you giving us only half?"
"Please just give us your shake and we will fix it," was the answer.
So, I went back to my family, collected the shake, gave it back to her, and watched as they tossed it in the trash. Then said, "It's policy."
"What?! You lied to me to get my shake so you could throw it away!" I yelled.
"You're not supposed to get a free extra shake," another girl who seemed a bit more dominant told me.
"But I told showed you proof that you messed it up. You made a mistake. Why can't you admit that?"
"I'm sorry, it's policy," was the answer.
"It's policy to lie to your customers?"
Yep. These people will cut corners no matter what. They don't respect their customers. If it wasn't on the receipt, it would be a different story. I know there are people who try to lie and claim that they messed it up, just so they can get free food. This was not the case. THEY were the liars. They got our order wrong and then lied to make sure that we trusted them and handed them our shake, so we wouldn't enjoy a free shake and they could follow their policy. The receipt showed who was wrong. It was all clear. There was no doubt about it. So dishonest. I'm still blown away by it. And of course, I'm never going back there. Lost me as a customer.
Now, ask yourself, do you want to be lied to?

Why anyone has given this place less than a 5-star review beats me. My family loves this place and every time we are in St. George, we stop here. We have been here about 5-6 times at different times of day and evening. The food is always great, the staff is awesome, and the shakes are out of this world great!
