I recently dined at Gorkha Palace, an Indian restaurant in the Twin Cities known for its friendly staff and traditional Indian fare with a twist of Nepali and Tibetan recipes. My curiosity about this place was finally satisfied during my first visit, and I was impressed by the unique flavors and offerings on the menu. The Lamb Vindaloo I ordered was different from what I've had before, with all meat and a caution from the server about the spice level which turned out to be milder than expected. Despite the higher prices and the confusion around the surcharge, the overall dining experience was enjoyable and I look forward to returning to explore more of their delicious dishes.
