How I wish someone would buy this steakhouse who really wanted to be in business and provide good service and food. Such a waste of a nice location and building.

I was recently in your restaurant wishing to have a nice dinner and spend some quality time with my husband. Upon arrival to the restaurant, we were greeted by the hostess, she seated us and went back to her station near the entrance of the restaurant. We sat there talking, expecting to be greeted by a waitress while we were looking at our menus. We really didn't anticipate a long wait seeing that diagonally right over from our table was 3-4 waitresses sitting in a booth talking to each other and not busy at all. Matter of fact, besides my husband and I, there was only two other couples in the restaurant, and they were seated on the other side of the restaurant. There was a waitress on that side taking care of these other two couples. So after about approximately ten minutes, my husband leaves our table and speaks to the hostess telling her we have not been acknowledged by anyone and we haven't been offered a beverage or anything yet. So the hostess walks over to the table where the waitresses are sitting still not doing anything but chatting and playing on their cell phones. She tells them something, and still after several minutes, still no one came to our table! Finally, a waitress comes over to us and says something to us, it was hard to understand what she was saying because she was almost in laughter, trying to hold it back, like something was funny?? I said, I'm sorry I didn't understand you? Then she said, Oh I was just asking you if you guys are having a great evening? And you know that was about all I could take, she was being sarcastic, I guess because she had to come wait on our table, I'm really nit sure? And so, I tell her, no we are not having a great evening at all and that I think we are just going to leave but not before speaking to a manager on duty. She went away to let the manager know we wanted to speak to them, guess what?? No one came! Unbelievable! So we left and when I returned home, I called back to the restaurant and asked to speak to a manager, I did get to talk to one then. I told her the whole story and that I wanted her to be aware about what is really going on in the restaurant. She reassured me things would be taken care of. I do want to add that when I returned home, a family member of mine was telling me that a group of her and some friends went there one evening and could not get waited on as well and they also left, and she said they had 10 people in their group that evening! Look at the money this Reno's is losing simply because the waitresses aren't doing their job! My husband and I have dinner there often and it's never been like this. We are truly disappointed in this whole incident. And you must believe with other choices of restaurants, the people that work there should feel good and glad that customers are choosing to dine there, because it's job security for them and certainly in this struggling economy in this area it means even more that people would choose this restaurant. I just wanted to make this aware to who it needs to be directed to because this is just totally unacceptable.

This place is the poorest excuse for a steak house I have ever set foot in. The food was terrible, the service sucked. Stay away from this place. I would rather have gone hungry, in fact I did, I couldn't even eat two bites of what they brought to the table.
