I discovered this amazing little restaurant in Fort Payne while staying at the hotel area for the weekend. It caught my eye as we were heading to DeSoto Falls, and I'm so glad we decided to stop by - the food was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and looking for a tasty meal before exploring the parks.

We took an elderly friend and neighbor fo lunch today and he ate better than I've ever seen!
Had 4veggie plate and Butterfinger cake!

We had dinner at Tiger Inn tonight and it was Fabulous. The food was delicious and we spent time talking with the new owner and she and her husband are wonderful people.
We even got to see Judy Johnson there and visit with her.
It was so wonderful to hear the new owners compliments for what a wonderful person Judy is. We found that out as we were new to Mentone and enjoyed going to Tiger Inn as Judy was always smiling and so friendly to us. Now it is so wonderful to see the new owners being friendly and caring like Judy always was.
What a great dinner and we look forward to many more awesome meals there. If you haven't been, you need to go and save room for the apple fritter and ice cream. Also don't forget to try the fried deviled eggs.
